For sale templates
21 October, 2011, 12:40
Make:
Gun/Model:
Accessories:
Condition:
FPS:
Splits/Swaps/Part Exchange:
Price/Payment:
Pictures:
Could this be changed around so the price is near the top?
Would save time browsing the classifieds because most of the time you can’t hover over the thread to see the price you have to click it.

Re: For sale templates
How would that encourage browsing?

Leave as is, the other information is more important to buyers

Re: For sale templates
I'm with the OP.
If you can hover over the thread description and have the price come up, this will speed up how quickly you can browse through the classifieds. If the item is out of your price range, you save time in not opening the thread and this, in turn, may help to keep things running just a little faster at busy times as the server will be dealing with less threads being opened and closed.

Re: For sale templates
No point, as the price in the original post is very often not the current price.

Re: For sale templates
Also, who shops for things depending on how much they cost?
Dont know about you, but I shop for things that are remotely relevant to me, then look at the price!

Re: For sale templates
I swear some people on here look in the wallet/bank - then decide that money needs spending.... on anything!

Re: For sale templates
something like the following would make more sense to me
Make:
Gun/Model:
Price/Payment:
Condition:
FPS:
Accessories:
Splits/Swaps/Part Exchange:
Pictures:
the make/model of the gun will determine the price anyway (to a degree)
but in order of importance when thinking about a purchase, it's higher than 'Accessories' or 'FPS'
+ no point having to browse/open countless threads for guns outside your budget
valid point re: price changes tho Jags, but knowing the start price, especially on new posts is critical
all pro's, no cons IMO
