Rating 'tick'

Every time I post to a thread, or start a new thread, the listing seems to acquire a tick in the rating column, so that it looks as though my thread (or that of others) has a tick next to it when it's listed in the threads list. It's really annoying, can this be taken off?

The tick can only be seen by you, as it indicates which Threads you have posts on (Subscribed too). I dont know if you can remove it from the Thread you started, but you can from ones you have posted on, by either going to your User CP and removing it from your subscribed threads or, open the actual Thread and using the Thread tool drop down.... One thing to note, If you unsubscribe from a thread you won't recive Email alerts if people post on the Thread.
