And the best bit is that (generally) they're really nice guys.
I used to teach advanced/evasive driving at the RMP Training College, so I've met quite a lot of them. Watching them reverse an armoured landrover discovery backwards, while swerving in and out of traffic cones, was the most impressive driving I've ever seen.
I'm trying to find a photo I've got of a female RMP Warrant Officer I know, who was Paddy Ashdown's personal BG in Kosovo. She'll earn a fortune when she leaves as, not only is she bloody good at her job, she's also drop dead gorgeous and would pass as a model or film star easily. They used a shot of her with an HK on the recruitment posters and recruitment went up!

Re: UKSF Photo Thread
rockinrobin, you can't mention who people are bodyguarding. Not trying to put a dampner on anything, but it's very much frowned on.

Re: UKSF Photo Thread
Tell that to the RMP. They have a section on their website with pictures of current CPU members. All the photos I've used are in the public domain and a couple of them are from the RMP themselves.
I know at least 3 of the guys in these photos and, did you not notice, I didn't put any names to them.
EDIT: The picture of the WO is from RMP promotional material, which identified her as CPU!

The Royal Navy issue MP5's for specialist boarding parties, plus Royal Marine Fleet Protection use them. But, at a guess, they're probably SBS.

British special forces tend to mix camo, some have even been photographed wearing full ACU.
The guy on the right probably isn't British, but the guy in the centre and the one on the right are very likely to be British SBS.
