Torches and helmets
10 July, 2012, 23:27
I have just ordered a Mich 2002 with side rail mounts and thinking about adding a torch on as well.
Anyone got any pics of torches mounted onto helmets at all?
I guess a standard RIS scope mount will work with the rails on the Mich helmets?

Re: Torches and helmets
standard 20mm torch rail mount (the kind people use on the m4 RIS) and just put the torch into the side rail
but im a cheap git so i use velcro on my helmet and attach the torch that way for night games/dark places lmfao

Re: Torches and helmets
I've got an element helmet light (clone of the surefire one)
As you can see, I dont have the rails. The light comes with its own helmet attachment, plus it looks pretty cool
Its not terribly bright, you'd rely on your weapon light to dazzle your oponent, but it's useful for illuminating your path for example

What colour? My helmet is OD so a tan one wouldn't really work unfortunately!
