lol...helmet would make a difference lol...but thats about 73lbs? thats a lot of kit even in the mob - not including rations, bivvi, dry kit, weapon etc

maybe the yellow and green cards are made from depleted uranium these days, used to be environmentally unsound cardboard in my day

not having a dig, but carting that lot would sure be a workout lol

Camo for woodland, charcoal/grey/black for urban, always take the water bottle, bandana or cap, boots, gloves, glasses/googles, stalker mesh face mask, pistol, holster, speed loader, gas and then build on that.

Going light with the shotgun, scabbard and shell belt.

Going heavy with assault vest, mp5, red dot, torch, ton of mags, kneepads and snacks.

                Somewhat lightweight.

MICH2000 helmet, ESS NVG profile goggles and a Heroshark lower mesh face mask.

Tru-spec tiger stripe shirt, Warrior PLB belt [with 2x triple mp5 mag pouches and double pistol mag pouch] and a Viper security belt.

Tru-spec tiger stripe trousers with Viper neoprone kneepads, Viper adjustable pistol holster, Viper leg molle platform [with medium utility pouch (containing TM xl speedloader, spare battery, bb's and if it fits, gas.)] and British army issue boots.

have to go pretty light, hate having a ton of sh!t weighing me down as i like to move around alot,

                        its just

boots, trousers, hoody, gloves, shemagh and my chest rig + 6 midcaps and m4

sometimes i dump the chest rig and just take a couple of hicaps with me

                        free and easy lol

                        • Re: Skirmish Wear - How do you do it?

Excessive & gucci. The kit, and having a 'legitimate' reason to buy it, is one of my favourite parts of airsoft (probably my favourite if I'm honest, but the rest is too good for me to just be a geardo haha!) so I like to go at it proper. I have brought the best kit I can for a reason: to use it, so I will. I haven't been skirmishing in a long time though to many reasons, but principally my loadout not being complete (to my wants).

Anyway it now goes something like this (or will with a bit more money & time):

Crye Combat Pants & Field Shirt
                          Oakley Gloves
                          Watch
                          Blackhawk! Riggers Belt
                          Replica PACA
                          Warrior 901 (fully loaded)
                          Warrior Duty Belt
                          Blackhawk! SERPA Drop-leg
                          Warrior Drop-leg Dump Pouch
                          Boots
                          ICS M4a1 w/ 7 Mags
                          TM MEU w/ 3 Mags
                          Spare battery & Gas.

When it gets colder add on a Helikon Australian Commander Jacket & Shemagh.

For long games & Sterling MilSims I'll probably ditch the drop-leg dump pouch and go with a belt rig of -
Warrior PLB Belt, Double NSR M4 Pouch (+2 mags), Double Pistol (+2 mags), Dump Pouch, Medium general utility pouch (used as secondary dump), 2 Smoke (+ pyros).

                          * Yes I am a masochist and enjoy doubling my body weight for a day... It'll get worse when I do my SAS DA loadout using real caps...

I'd have a comms set up, but no longer have a team so...
