And a gun? Magazines?
I only carry what I need. I have multicam trousers and shirt, sometimes knee pads, glasses, hat, and a vest with 6 mags. M4 and maybe a glock.

Re: Skirmish Wear - How do you do it?
I dress and gear up appropriate to the situation. I have the WebTex assault vest for colder weathers and carrying more gear (drinks, gas, magazines and other accessories) and when I do more running. I have a lighter vest for my SOPMOD M4 and TM G36K recoil shock so that I just carry magazines. Also have a belt for carrying just the bare essentials.
Quite simple I try to stay light, but I dress appropriate to the occassion and what's most practical and useful for where and when I am.

Combat trousers, combat boots, t-shirt with black army jumper OR combat shirt, SWAT vest (3xM4 mags, pistol and 2x pistol mags, spare battery, BB loader with 200 BBs, radio and headset), protection glasses and baseball cap.
Pretty much a Security Contractor look and practicality :D

Re: Skirmish Wear - How do you do it?
I simply dawn a belt rig.
I dislike chest rigs and vests as I find they restrict fast movements, like when trying to turn to shoot someone quickly. Belt rigs are much more flexible in my humble opinion.

Re: Skirmish Wear - How do you do it?
I have 2 simple load outs,
1, Spas 12 + 10 shells, m9 + 2 mags
USMC type b vest + massive dump pouch
dpm trousers
boots gloves etc
radio + throat mic
2, M4 (old school peq 2 and aim point)+ 2 baby rattle high caps, M9 + 2 mags
ranger type fleese
Phantom chest rig (kyote)
dpm trousers
boots gloves etc
radio + throat mic
They are both ideal for the gun to be used.
It seems to work for me.

Re: Skirmish Wear - How do you do it?
Personally I prefer a loadout for whatever the situation is or what mood I'm in. If its urban and I'm feeling Army of Two I take everything whether I need it or not. If I'm feeling a Jack Bauer day then its a pistol, dogtags and a grin.
If someone with multiple personalities threatens to kill himself,
is it considered a hostage situation?
