Get better at not getting shot in the head so much.
This may be aided by not wearing a big helmet shaped bullet magnet.

Re: Helmet ringing my ears!
If i'm in WW2 kit I'll almost always be wearing a steel helmet, and I find the noise is a great indicator of a hit, almost a comedy sound effect 'ting'. If you really want to stop it, just put some padding onto it or wear a hat under the helmet, that might stop it vibrating so much (and therefore quieten the sound)

The viper M88?
It isn't that loud.
Unless you have either superman hearing or everyone else is using silly hot guns.
Foam or bubble wrap should dim the noise down.

Re: Helmet ringing my ears!
You're getting dazed when small plastic pellets hit your plastic helmet at an unremarkable velocity? You either need to man up or go see a medical professional about diagnosing whatever condition causes that sort of sensitivity :D
Or as others have said, don't wear a helmet...

Re: Helmet ringing my ears!
is it a steel "M88" from a certain HK retailer becuase i dont think a polymer one would ring. and are you using a helmet cover as using one could help deaden the sound

Re: Helmet ringing my ears!
Why would anyone buy or make a steel M88?

Re: Helmet ringing my ears!
other option is to rip out the suspension webbing in it and attach mich pads, not only will it deaden the sound but make it more comfortable on their bonce too

Re: Helmet ringing my ears!
You would need massive pads for that, the M88 is quite large.

Re: Helmet ringing my ears!
Pads wouldn't completly help.
Due to the vibration properties of the plastic, you're better off strengthening the material rather than padding it.
