    Best Balaclavas

    Hiya,

    I'm after a black balaclava to go with a ARV type loadout, which will be going underneath a helmet and goggles (when I find out which is best!)

    Wanting something that is good quality, and also not going to get too hot and sticky. Heard good things about Blackhawk but I'm no expert.

    Any advice welcome

    I've used a cheap karrimor one from sports direct.. Looks the part and not too hot either a bargain at £4.. Also have a nomex fireproof hood but it goes all sloppy when you sweat in it. Steer clear of woolly / and cheap cotton.

        Under armor ones are meant to be good, though they are apparently a bit short in the neck. Either way, the thinner and lighter the better, as no balaclava will save your teeth.
