How to remove paint from molle vest
7 February, 2013, 21:57
Basicly brought this vest off ebay dead cheap, however after it arrived I realised it had been sparyed thinking nothing by it since it only cost me £15 I kept it. However after buying pouchs I noticed how off the colour was ( is kind of a cross between od and cb). So I was wondering if anyone knows a way to remove the spray paint. Its flye and its meant to be coyote brown btw.
Thanks for looking and hopefully answering my question

remote control car fuel (nitro) is about the most effective paint stripper ive ever come across, unsure how it will effect the fabric though, shouldnt do much harm as its normally nylon.

Paint will everntually come off through use. If its the mismatched colours youre worried about you could just spray the pouches?

Its Cordura Nylon, so i will give it ago with the nitro fuel. Its kind of streaked as well so dont really want to spary the pouchs the same.
