Ah, I haven't seen that. I stand corrected. Thanks very much, I'll give that a watch now.

Re: Tri PRC 152 MBTIR Replica (Super Gucci)
Hey guys. Could somebody please tell me if the TRI Thales speaker mic has an AUX/2.5mm socket?
Cheers

Yes, well the one I bought from Toy Soldier did. It's a TRI modified genuine THALES speaker mic.

I use it with my Comtac XP non boom mic version. Peltor do a specific lead to attach to a 2.5mm jack which I bought from a well known auction site. Comms straight to my headset.

Tri PRC 152 MBTIR Replica (Super Gucci)
That's exactly my plan. Except the Sordin extreme Pro headset
PS, sell me your speaker mic

Re: Tri PRC 152 MBTIR Replica (Super Gucci)
Have any of you guys tried an in ear mic from the jack on the speaker mic? Also, what size jack is required? 2.5mm? Or is it a 3.5mm?

If it's the THALES type speaker mic you're referring to it's 2.5mm. I've tried it with a covert earpiece and it works really well.

Re: Tri PRC 152 MBTIR Replica (Super Gucci)
I've been thinking of buying this for my 2nd airsoft kit inspired by Delta Force/CAG Operators. Will I be able to use this in the UK with no legal issues under and with the PMR446? I'm worried I could run into legal issues as well as not be able to communicate with my team and others on the field that have different radios. Cheers!

Re: Tri PRC 152 MBTIR Replica (Super Gucci)
No as long as you use it on PMR 446.
If you want you can purchase a lisense and use UK general or other bands

Re: Tri PRC 152 MBTIR Replica (Super Gucci)
You can use it within the conditions required by UK law; on the 446 frequencies and up to 500mW transmission power.
However I'm not sure on the antenna issue. Always thought, pmr446 radios were supposed to have fixed antenna.

You would be correct. As per Ofcom:
PMR 446 radio equipment must be handportable, have an integral antenna, have a maximum ERP of 500 mW and be compliant with ETS 300 296.
PMR 446 radio equipment must use the above frequencies only. Radio equipment which can operate on any other frequency, including Short Range Business Radio (SRBR) equipment capable of using frequencies in the 461 MHz band, must not be used for the PMR 446 service.
So technically none of these Chinese radios are legal
