Blackhawk pistol mag pouches with talon flex - advice?
3 May, 2013, 15:51
Hi, I bought a pair of double Blackhawk pistol mag pouches with talonflex off a member on here, because I had read online that when the retention flap is tucked inside the pouch, the magazines are still held in by some little kydex "fingers" that allow you to use the pouches open. However when I received the pouches they didn't seem to have any inserts or fingers inside, they look like plain pouches to me.
Can someone that has these pouches corroborate they have an insert please so I know I'm not going mad? Or even better, show me a photo of the insert or how they keep the mags held in! Currently with the cover folded in there is literally no retention at all, but maybe I am doing something wrong.
Edit:
I think this is the insert, albeit on a duty pouch, does that look about right?
