  • Helikon Action Gear

I've been looking at the various soft-shell/fleece type jackets available to us and one brand in particular is sticking out rather well, Helikon are a polish brand that produce tactical clothing, a few UK retailers are selling bits of their gear, I would like to know if anyone has any of their jackets and can comment on their experience with them, I am most likely going to purchase the Aus SF fleece jacket, so any thoughts on that would be extra helpful.

Since its a bit too late to edit the above post, I wanted to throw a few images out to you guys for your opinions, I've got a game coming up sunday and kinda wanted to make a purchase before wednesday. I know its down to what I want, but I know some of you guys are extra tacticool and can give me the equivalent of a "gay mans touch (no offence intended)" on airsoft fashion :P

    Heres some food for thought:

    Level 5 Softshell -

    Aus SF -

    Fleece -

Sorry I cant provide better images, but google will reveal better results.

Yeh, I remember seeing Nun-Chucks loadout a couple of weeks ago, it was what kinda put me on the Helikon train, I know it sounds silly, but I am in the grey area between functional and appearance, any lacking functionality that I may end up with can be fixed by wearing another layer underneath, and FYI, I'm rolling with multicam to go with it.

Well, the benefits of the softshell are that its water resistant, has plenty of velcro attach points, but it lacks durability from what I've read (which is why I was after personal experience), the other models tend to have cordura enhanced wear points and are warmer.
