Help identifying a patch.

I got this as part of a deal on some bits I bought from Russia.
The problem is, I don't know where to look to identify it!

Thanks guys. A little help and google and it's amazing what you can find out.
From what I found on militaryphotos, it's the old Soviet era VDV badge.
