Safety Glasses worn by Specialist Owen Eldridge from "Hurt Locker"
17 March, 2010, 08:30
Anyone know which type of safety glasses are worn by the above character?
I fancy getting a pair, but can't seem to find the exact ones.
I can't find any real clear pics of them...
Cheers,
JB

I think you could be right there, they have the extra bits on the lenses that seem to want to creep around the side or your face towards your ears.
Or they could be the ESS ones:

The shape of the bottom of the lens suggests ESS ICE 2.4 to me (the lower pic Krazy Horse posted) - They're also US DOD and UK MOD approved.

I thought they were the ESS ones (although Oakley now own ESS)

I think neither.
The shape looks more like the 2.4, but on the original photo, the lenses curve upwards sharply, whereas the 2.4's remain constant...

i think they mite be oakley "Strike" M frames, usually isued to US units
just going by the fuller lense and no visible "tail" at the edge of the lense

They do have the tail, as i remember that being a distinct feature of them when i saw the film.
For the price, i think i will prob get the ESS ones as the Oakley ones seem a bit pricey!
