Hydration on DCS PC
15 February, 2014, 08:37
Hi Guys,
Any tips on what hydration carrier to use on a DCS (OD)? I am looking for a compact setup without the stickout at the bottom.
Might also consider a small backpack with a hydration carrier integrated. Hope to get some tips..

Source Razor 3L Low Profile. Fits the exact profile of my Mayflower APC back panel. Which is similar in size to the DCS. Cannot recommend it enough.

Re: Hydration on DCS PC
Thems the breaks sadly. Not much gucci kit comes in OD these days as no-one is using it.
Couple of manufacturers do Ranger Green bits. Or Sage. But theyre rare, and usually bespoke.
Youd be better off looking for a cargo pack. Warrior do a solid one (pretty much a copy of the Eagle Industries one), but it will overhang. Looks less lame than a hydro pouch overhang though, as its a bag. Can also be attached via molle.

Re: Hydration on DCS PC
I just use the WAS Hydration carrier. Yes it over hangs by an inch but it matches the rig so not too fused. I have now added a medium utility to make it resemble the Cargo Pack.
I am planning on un-stitching the lower section and moving it up to just above the first lot of MOLLE and re-stitching it. Then it will fit in line with the base of the rig.
But worn with the PLB belt it looks OK.

The WAS Hydration Carrier fits fine w/ no overhang.

Spray Paint? As it's all copies of EI/AI/LBT stuff the Flyye/Condor/Shark stuff should be about the same dimensions as the WAS kit I would think.
