So, as I'm starting an impression I thought it would be a good time to start a thread to collate my thoughts and get some help! I'm going to split between my own, functional loadout and any current or future impressions.

I'll start with my functional loadout:

Second comes my impression which is going to be a 2011-12ish Danish Jęgerkorpset impression. This isn't going to be completed very quickly as I want to use as much RS kit as I can while working a part-time student job. This is most likely far from a complete kitlist as I've been preparing for exams but it will be continually updated until completion.

Excuse the double.

Since I'm trying to avoid using a CIRAS, and I'm not exactly a fan of RRVs, I'm thinking about using the rig on the right.



Nearly all the kit I've seen so far has been Eagle and so I think it's either an EI PC with/without cummerbund, with different shoulder pads, or this. I'm leaning more towards the EI PC?

So, IDed that as an EPC w/o cummerbund, particularly based on the front pouch he seems to have put something in. Hopefully picking one of those up soon if the guy is willing to ship to the UK.

I'm having trouble finding this grenade pouch:





It's been in use in ~90% of my reference photos so it would be great to be able to get one. I think I remember reading that they were made for the Danish forces by Eagle, although a shop which has now closed down used to carry them. Has anyone come across one of these? Or maybe know where I could get one made?

You could see if the original manufacturer still makes them/will sell one to you. Failing that, I don't think that particular pouch would be too hard to make.

Eagle Industries made them but from what I understand they're no longer in production and they were made in a very limited quantity. Thought there was a chance someone had come across one at some point. I've contacted JTac Custom and hopefully they'll be able to recreate it. Not really up for trying to make it myself hah!

Slight change of plan on the gat front: going to be using a GBBR instead of an AEG. Looking into importing a Viper Tech Mk 18 Mod 0 to use as a base for the C8, otherwise a G&P WOC depending on whether one comes up before I order the VT.

The outer barrel is going to have to be sent off to be cut down to 10" and then I'll need a 6" C8/L119 barrel extension to be made if I want to be able to switch between a CQB and an SFW. On top of replacing the stock, pistol grip etc I'll have to order a spare lower for the VT to get it engraved with the correct C8 trades, so hopefully I'll be able to get one of those!
