All of my new WAS kit arrived as well as a new set of gloves, t-shirt, a couple of patches and my comtacs

Thats a riggers belt, i only ran it through the 4 loops on the plate carrier hence the sagging, a duty belt is on the shopping list though.

Yep, I know it's a riggers belt, in fact if that's the Blackhawk one (looks similar from what I can see) I've got the exact same thing in RG.

Will you be running the duty belt through the PC loops or round your waist out of interest? I've never had a main rig that had those loops underneath, I'd imagine it might end up putting a whole lot of weight on your shoulders, but I'd be interested to hear from someone that's tried it.

You can do both and the straps will simply be there to add some extra control points. Most of the weight, if not all will still be on your hips.
For certain people that have a similar waist/hip measure I'd say it's a must.

Yeah when actually skirmishing should i have the belt through the pc loops and through my combat trouser loops too? to keep everything in place as it were or just tighten the belt (yes its the blackhawk one btw)

If you can put it through the trousers' loops you'll be fine. With some trousers that's not possible.
Using the PC straps will depend on how much weight you put on the belt, which shouldn't be much anyway. Also take account that linking your PC to your belt and therefore to your pants is less "elastic" than having the PC/torso and the belt/hips unlinked.

If you tighten the belt over the hips (through the trousers or not) so it can't go down you won't need to attach it to the PC. Just give it a go with different configs and see what works better for you.

got a couple more bits an pieces now but this is mine at the moment dont usually go all out on kit but have to show off the team camo. and yes its me shamelessly posing in the garden so i could see what the kit looked like :D
