This is a loadout I'm currently working on for the Brit-Tac: Operation Swift Steel weekender. I'll be on the NATO Task Force.

It's not based on a particular nation/state/unit, but I'm aiming for a modern Eastern European Special Forces look.

It comprises:
-Black Beret (patch/badge to follow)
-OD Shemagh
-Digital Woodland BDU (possibly an unissued Ukrainian pattern)
-Black gloves
-RAV Vest with various pouches including G36 shingles and 2x Double Pistol and Serpa (to follow)
-OD Belt with drop leg platform
-OD Kneepads (to follow)
-Black boots

The kit looks good, Jack. I'm guessing you've not skirmished in it yet? I say that because the drop-leg looks like it's hanging very low, and you'll probably find that it will swing around your knees will irritate you no-end! It's just a suggestion, mind, but I think you'd find it a whole lot more comfortable if the bottom strap is at least a few inches above your kneecap.

I've had a drop-leg holster (viper jobby, to be fair) which got right on my nerves cos it just wouldn't stay in the right place!

No, I thought that too, when I looked at it, then I thought maybe it just just that the pouches make it look really low. It's kinda hard to tell, as there's no "full frontal" shot.

FYI, Jack, most vests are made to be worn above the waist - they're far more comfortable that way too.

I've finally found a loadout I like!




CB Molle vest
2x Triple SMG mag pouches
Triple 40mm grenade pouch
Double pistol mag pouch
Fobus USP Compact holster

Tigerstripe camos
Brown Shemagh (Looking fabulous in the second pic)
Desert boots

Excuse the magpulls... they're awesome for getting the mags out past the pistol and holster. Notice the mags to my side don't have them
