Last purchase to arrive. Issue temperate MARPAT FROG combat set to go with my Arid set:



No idea what I'm going to use it with loadout wise because none of my other gear is even vaguely USMC related, but MARPAT does work really nicely at a lot of woodland sites I play so I thought it was about time to replace my very old Bulle MARPAT uniform.

CK you have far to much money and far too much nice kit.....i suggest sharing it with the rest of us.

everytime i see camo other than DPM/Multicam i wish i had bought something different.

Well if it helps at all, I'm not going to be buying anything much for a good few months now I'm saving up to take a little trip next year. So apart from maybe the odd pouch here and there it's strict budgeting until next summer time heh.

Nothing wrong with DPM and MC though mate, like them both myself. Anyway there's always time to expand the collection.

Just those going to afghan, 6a for UK usage (which happens very rarely, unfortunately). Not sure why we're not all just making the 7 the new standard, I found it a big step forward when I tried one, but there you go.

Well as far as I know they are. Once you've been issued it to go downrange it's yours you don't hand it back in and go back to the 6a. I've had mine since Herrick 13

No I'm aware of that, we never hand stuff back that's issued for deployment (with the exception of Osprey), I was purely talking about staying within the UK. There's plenty of guys in the raf who just get pinged for the falklands time after time, so they'll never end up getting any of the gucci kit.
