I've seen pictures of Alpha wearing Gorka-e Partisan, Smersh webbing and using the black polymer AK74. The only way they were identified was the red Telnyashka they wore.
Interesting you can't find anything, I just used Google and I'm on the Alpha Group Veterens Association website. Granted it's all in Russian, but hey, marrying a Russian helps

i did find it just now i was preoccupied with the songs though no offense intended.

also i think you have the wrong alpha group there..i meant the special forces group that are part of spetsnaz but not as widely known .. no public info about them except some stuff on wiki

nah alpha group is apparently the sister group of vympal(vega group) who were mainly out of action until a few years ago now they handle counter terrorism by pretty much using terrorist training and are permitted to use terrorist tactics to get shit done.. i dont know much
