The right Blackhawk holster
2 July, 2010, 20:58
Just want to know if a Hi-Cappa could fit any of the holsters as I have been given the thigh platform as friend preferred putting it on his chest and I might as well use it if I can...
If not can you recommend a good sturdy thigh holster (not viper, has it but found it wobbled far to much for me and sold it).
Cheers
George

Re: The right Blackhawk holster
It will fit in a 1911 S.E.R.P.A. with a bit of modding.

Re: The right Blackhawk holster
You need to make a small square cut on the bottom of the serpa where the trigger guard mates with the locking gate on the holster to enable the extra inch of room for the square trigger guard to squeeze into.

Re: The right Blackhawk holster
I went to a retailer with two A's earlier and he reckoned the 4.3 will fit in a USP holster? Not seen an omega before, and I do admit I like it but the reason I want a Blackhawk is that I already have the leg platform as stated in the op

That ..is a 5.1 hi capa, but why does that matter, its the holsters bottom for the trigger guard that matters.

True, but they are different and so I would have thought would fit different holsters

Re: The right Blackhawk holster
Only problem i can see with the 4.3 is the fact thats it more square than a 5.1 hi capa (more 1911 shaped)
so after seeing that.
I cant help you any longer.
