Which is the better acog?

Looking for an acog scope. The scope I have no has decided to stop working. Yes, scopes can stop working! The adjustments wont do anything so the scope is knackered.

Anyway, looking for a cheap Acog. I know eye relief if poor but thats the nature of the beast when it comes to small scopes.

With that in mind I am looking at the china stuff. Does anyone have any recommendations? I've been looking at that banned ebay site and my old scope came from there. Not really to impressed but I have got some stuff off them before and some has been good, others bad.

Oh yeah, if you find a cool compact scope, while not an Acog gimmie a shout. Trying to weight up what might look cool on my scar.

Ahh I forgot too put that in.

Must be magnified. I have a real aimpoint for CQB but I want zoom's for teh sniper shots when playing outdoors.

There are two common 4x magnification chinese Acogs, one is really good and offers a lot of adjustment, one doesnt at all (and they look the same) make sure you check before you buy!

Anyway.. Been looking at the M16 Proscopes as well. Those look pretty snazzie but has anyone got info about them?

whether or not you can afford one or not the G&P ACOGs are absolutely amazing - doesnt suffer from the eye relief problems associated with Star and other chinese brands

I have heard good things about G&P. I was tempted to get one of there eotech's instead of an aimpoint but they dont sit right on Scars I think.

Will have a look at and see how much they will be

i got mine for £80 off the forum and its a total beast! - seriously I dont think you will regret it if you buy one - one of the best optics ive seen or used

eotech? on a scar? look great - but scars look best with ACOGs

I duno, never really liked them. I guess its because I use to play BF2 alot and the scar had an aimpoint so must of left some imprint on my brain!

Are "EA" scopes any good? I have seen some going for roughly 50 or so quid. I just want one that has a clear optic and adjustable!

It's too damn hard wading through the crap to get decent stuff
