  • Warrior Assault Systems vest choice

Im looking at getting one of Warriors lovely looking vests,

Can anyone help with choosing between the Centurion Mk1 Combo and the W-RPC7?

They look very similar but the Centurion is more expensive, is this purely as it can be used as a chest rig without the back panel?

Opinions of anyone who owns these would be great thanks :D

Just realised this would be better in gear/loadouts,

Would a mod be able to move it please?

aww feel bad so thought id give you an idea lol

centurion: very nice bit of kit, if ur planning to get the one with back panel aswell, i brought one and had to sell it straight away tho was well gutted because the quality is awesome, i prefer teh mag pouches on this compared to teh rpc-7 they are more secure, how ever the reason i had to sell it was im about average build and even when fully tightened up with back panel on was still to big, wouldnt b so bad if u was to wear soft body armour underneith it tho. also the zip was anoying as where i aint that wide it overlapped onto the mag pouches making it a pain to get the side mags out

      as for the rpc-7

its a very popular rig, not a fan of it myself as prefer something to wrap round my sides, and found tht the mag pouches wasnt ideal for me found them to lose with just 1 mag in each but if u carry more than 6 mags and plane to double them u then will be perfect

overall tho the centrurion is a nicer fit

hope that helps a bit, think i rambled on mostly lol

I found it was hard to shoulder guns with the RCP-7, I've sinced sold it and will be looking into getting a Centurion early next year. I also found the RCP-7 sagged and folded in weird ways without the plates in, which is how i wanted it.

Had the RPC-7 and you can remove the back panel on that as well, though its more suited to this if you're going to be using it over the top of a plate carrier.

If you're wanting to remove the back panel and use it as a chest rig I'd look at the Templar one, I've had both and the Templar one has extra clips on the back to make it more secure as a standalone chest rig.

              Hope that helps.

                Thanks for the info,

Ive since noticed G1098's kit, they look to be exactly the same designs but are available in more colours.

Does anyone have any experience with this kit?
