Warrior Vests + Rigs
27 May, 2009, 14:58
Ok so I'm after a vest/plate carrier to compliment my PLCE.
First impression, I really fancy a RICAS compact.
THese are around 100, I really like them but dont really get what the 'compact' means.
has anyone used one before?
Also loadout wise, im woodland, so do you think it would be better to go OD over tan? Or are we thinking the tan ones are way more pimp?

Re: Warrior Vests + Rigs
No reason you couldnt go for OD, i think the Tan ones do look a big Eh? On woodland gear
G&G TR15 Raider XL, CA G36K, G&G MP5A4, Cyma Thompson, APS AKS-74U, Custom TM Uzi, DE M56, WE Nighthawk X2, Cyma Glock 18C
RD Customs MG42, The Bone Cannon And Project Balderdash.
If you aren't laughing, you're doing it wrong.

Re: Warrior Vests + Rigs
I personally think a tan rig with woodland BDU's looks awesome.
The RICAS Compact is alot easier to move in than the RICAS (thats why I chose the compact) and it is a lot more low profile.

YEah.. Im thining more OD cos I was thinking if I wanted a desert loadout for the Rock (im relavtivly near) dezzies and OD look sick, wheras i think woodland DPM and tan dont look so good..
So yeah its not bad to pick a plate carrier over a chest rig? (by warrior)

Re: Warrior Vests + Rigs
It depends on your style of play and how much kit you carry.
If you are always running, going prone, and you carry a minimul amount of kit then go for a chest rig (the warrior ones are great) or if you carry lots of kit and dont go prone so much then get a plate carrier.

Re: Warrior Vests + Rigs
What about their TMV vest range for a more low profile rig as we all know i have one and i love it, good alternative if plate carriers are too big for your liking and restrictive

Re: Warrior Vests + Rigs
Was going to get one of them
very low profile leaves you alot of space
heres a very similar one from blackwater video from nutnfancy (great videos) looks pretty much the same just to give you an idea of space wise

Re: Warrior Vests + Rigs
The chest rig looks like a comprimise between the plate carrier and the ultra low profile..
I really do like the look of them...
