Little Advice choosing a sling
27 November, 2010, 09:25
Hey all
Need a 2 slings 1 for my m4 1 for my MP5 SD6
Im looking for one that works similar to the the SA80 sling. I used these when in the army and are a great peice of kit.
Got a standard sling loops on the MP5 bt only got a sling loop on the front of my M4 so may have to get a sling plate which im looking into.
Looked at these 1 point slings and there not versatile enough. wana be able to sling the rif round my back while i go all John Mclane with my pistol lol
Anyone know or could recommend anything that is similar that would go on either of my Rifs.
Cheers guys

Re: Little Advice choosing a sling
for the m4 get the IDF extra wide padded sling, you can have it in sling up position for patroling then for action undo the fastex and get your gun off.
for the mp5, i can only suggest a genuine h&k mp5 sling. i can source them for 12.50 if you want one p'm me

Re: Little Advice choosing a sling
Get the Magpul MS2 sling. It's a single point sling with a small claw that allows you to change to a two point whenever you need to. That way you will have the mobility of the single point, but you can always sling it on your back whenever you need to. Also has a quick detach.
