do you have the backpack yoke as apposed to the webbing yoke?
do you also have 2 x utility straps for said daysack?

Try this, it's what I used when I was faced with a daysack yoke, two sidepouches, 2 "link straps" and a zillion different clips.

It's all rather simple, it just looks complicated.

      Enjoy

For the daysack version, you need the yoke, 2 utility straps (very important), and a rocket pouch (side pouch from burgen).

Clip the two utility straps onto the clips so you have two arm straps, thread this through a webbing loop at the bottom (1 on each side) and connect these together. You can also re-attach this to your burgan with all the yoke still on, just make sure if you are taking spade/pickaxe that you slot it between the other rocket pouch for moveing.

Also if you are on excersise on wednesday, that means you are in basic training? Cpl should of shown/will show you how to do it.
