Use it, or buy it used
Otherwise it will probably look stupid

Re: fading webbing
Leave it outside.
Used webbing is faded because it's used all the time outside, in rain mud and dirt so chuck it in the garden and hope it rains :p

Re: fading webbing
Probably not...
Faded webbing has been used, used and used --- and re-used.
If you've got new stuff it's going to take a while to fade even slightly.

Re: fading webbing
I've heard people have used chalk or even a khaki krylon dusting. Anyone ever tried it?

Re: fading webbing
dunno about faded as such but as above, a dusting of tan or khaki cyrlon over od stuff makes it look well used.

Yeah I think that would be best, in fact I have a couple of pouches and an admin panel to experiment with first. Hopefully avoid wearing a banksy on my chest that way! :p

Re: fading webbing
lol fair enough,
there's nothing worse than "over-doing" something and having to face the consequences by wearing it!

Re: fading webbing
Had a go at my plate carrier with some chalk and a stiff brush. Pictures are self explanatory, the mag pouches on the right haven't been done to show the contrast

Re: fading webbing
Do that with yellowish chalk, and you can have a pretty convincing "used" desert look.
