I Need Something Modern(woodland)
2 February, 2011, 22:42
Hey guys. Ive been planning a loadout since...Well since forever really. Ive always been using DPM trousers, top, cap and my Warrior TMV. Thats been great and all but my site is quite small and everyone tends to wear/look the same, usually full dpm so im going to try something different, see how it goes down. I tryed out MARPAT for a while but just lately ive not really been that into it.
SO! Was wondering if anybody has some ideas for a new loadout. Im always on websites thinking and looking but help would be great as some loadouts on here are brilliant so i thought i'd seek some help.
Thanks alot in return.

Socom pattern is good for woodland, Surpat even better, but both are a little tricky to get at the moment.
I say go with vegetato like I almost did!
Cadpat is nice and green?

EDIT - reread post and realise all is redundant haha
CLAW Bushvedlt
CLAW SOCOM
Vegetatto
CADPAT
New Russian stuff is looking pretty good too.
If you go with a more green based camo then you could probably keep using the TMV (assuming it's OD). Well you could anyway, just depends on how concerned with appearance you are...

Yes my TMV is OD. Ive had a look at the clawgear stuff and it looks brilliant. Has anybody heard positive feedback? Especially the socom stuff with the integrated kneepads.

Yeah it is very good! Personally I dont like the Mk 2s with built in kneepads, especially at the price compared to the plain trousers. Its all good quality though, Drop BALBOSA a message and ask him about his socom gear and hell tell you!

Re: I Need Something Modern(woodland)
Yeah CLAW gear is great quality, especially for the price. Though as BBSB said, their integrated pad trousers leave something to be desired. £60 for a full BDU set though is hard to complain about mind, and the SOCOM pattern works brilliantly with OD and as a stand alone camo (plus their BDU set can take internal neoprene knee pads). There's a whole thread about their stuff either lower on this page or the next.

Flecktarn has always appealed to me, i quite like the look of a full flecktarn loadout. I think i will also look into this as its something ive always wanted to do as well :D

CLAW SOCOM for me. Their UBACS are awesome. Closest match to AOR 2 Scheme
