Molle fitment.. who else has been doing it wrong?

Ok so for some time I've been doing molle just thread it through from the top to the bottom.. to only realise today that its far more secure 'weaving' it with the strips on the back of the pouches, i gather this is the way its supposed to be done.. anybody else been doing it wrong?

I spotted my brother had failed in threading the molle on his rig mid skirmish. Made him rethread it there and then :P

yea i was doing that wrong then while i was running i noticed a pouch gone but it was lucky that some one found it and gave it back since then i have weaved and never had a problem

The only time I do it wrong is when I'm trying out new pouch layouts at home.
I've noticed people without the pouches woven and it always puzzles me as to how they've not realised its supposed to be woven.
I've even seen someone pull a mag out of a single mag pouch and the pouch has come off with the mag. He was slightly puzzled as to why there was a mag pouch still on his mag when he tried to insert it into his gun.

Just alternate weaving through the vest hoops and the pouch thats all there is.
