Yes, they do mate. Depends what capacity of pouches your using. Most of the M4 and AK mags are the same size.

AK mags are larger than M4 mags, m4 being 5.56 and AK being 7.62.
A pouch that will take 2 AK mags will usually take 3 M4 mags.

well depends on the size of your mags i can fit 3 stumpy ak mags in the same space i fit 3 m4 mags.

You'll fit one M4 mag for each AK mag but M4 mags are alot shorter than AK ones so expect to go fishing for your mags.

I have single AK mag pouches in which i can fit two M4 mags, and Double ones i can fit three in, all fine and easy to use

I use the m4 open topped pouches for both. Each only holds one mag but the AK mags fit fine in there as width wise there isn't much difference

You can fit something like 18 M4 mags in one Viper Double AK mag pouch, you can actually stack the mags on top of eachother there is that much space.

I have some LC2 pouches that you can get one 5.45mm mag in and maybe a squeeze to get a second in, anyway 5.45mm mags are about the same size as 7.62mm ones so if it fits 47 type mags itll fit 74's grand

ah thanks. i thought they might fit better because they are about the same width as a 5.56 round.
