M14 mags in M4 pouches do they fit?

evening guys

as the title may suggest do M14 mags fit into M4 pouches, or do i now need to buy even more kit for just them, if it helps most of my M4 pouches are doubles with no divider in them.

it may seem like a silly question to some but as ive never owned an M14 i have no idea.

M14 magazines are wider than M4 magazines. If your M4 magazine pouches are double stacked you may be able to fit one M14 magazine in, but I'd recommend getting proper M14 pouches

If they are double M4 then you'll be able to fit one M14 mag but it will sit alot lower in the pouch due to it being a shorter mag so magpuls of some description are advisable.
As a general rule of thumb its 1.5 M14 mags to every M4 mag. So you'll fit one in a double M4 pouch and two in a tripple.
