Choices- belt/vest/more

Ok
My options are to either get a decent belt kit, and a backpack, or an assualt vest.
I need to carry, food, ammo, water, gas, a pistol, tools, my rifle, and around 4 m4 mags.
What do you guys think in terms of practicality and cost.
Cheers
J

Get a load bearing vest, you can add tonnes of molle pouches.

Re: Choices- belt/vest/more
you can get a Warrior CIRAS compact in tan or OD, fully kitted with pouches for £100.
There is another option to have it 100% maxed out with every possible pouch you could ever want or fill, but that costs more.
One has
Holds 10 x 5.56mm SA80 / M4 style Mags
1 x Medium Medic / Utility Pouch
1 x Small Medic / Utility Pouch
1 x Admin Pouch
While the uber leet one has:
2 x Double NSR 5.56mm pouches ( 8 mags )
1 x Medium Utility Pouch
1 x Small Utility Pouch
1 x Command Panel
1 x Double Pistol Pouch
1 x Cargo Pack
1 x New Adjustable Radio Pouch
1 x Smoke Grenade pouch
2 x Frag Grenade Pouch
1 x Small Vertical Pouch
1 x Open Mag Pouch 5.56mm

Re: Choices- belt/vest/more
Belt rig, and a MOLLE 3Day pack so you can thread some pouches on if you need some more equipment that's easy to reach. I recommend this simply because you can take the weight off if you need to.
Does not speak moron.

Re: Choices- belt/vest/more
For that lot I'd go with PLCE
You can pick it up quite cheaply and anything you cant fit in it you dont really need.
Failing that theres US ALICE webbing.
They may not be the gucciest options but for carrying the amount of stuff you listed you cant go far wrong.
