    Tiger Stripe!!! Tru Spec, where to get it?

    Anyone know where I can get some Tru-Spec Original Vietnam Tiger Stripe shirts? MMUK has them but they have been out of stock for bloomin ages. Tried emailing them but no luck so I'm wideing my search.

    It must be Tru-Spec stuff because I already have the boonie and trousers.

      search for tigerstripeproducts, its an american site but i had no problems ordering from them

        There is a shop on another forum, I could get you hooked up with the owner and he could sort you out. They've just brought in their new tru-spec stuff so Ill see if there is any shirts about.

          If it's for an actual nam loadout, you'd easily get away with a normal olive shirt/jacket from that period. It was pretty common for the thousands of SF troops and advisors to just wear a teeshirt or whatever with them too.

          Also, you might try having a lok around this and other forums for sale sections. Tru-spec stuff seems to be pretty common place.

            No its not for a specific Nam loadout. I just think its the coolest camo around so thats what I roll in.

            Managed to find a site for warfighters like us =D which stocks the stuff im after.

            Thanks for the help though, lead me to some cool things I wouldn't of seen otherwise.

              I know EB has the old style version for sale, the horribly lime green style one for sale as a set. But i prefer the 'dark' style ones flecktarn sell myself.

                I got some of the stuff from flektarn ages ago and it faded in a single wash. I'd avoid it if I were you. It was pretty shiny too which I really didn't like.

                  For the nam bit its the wrong way round, they rarely wore block camo on the torso if they mixed and matched

                  The flecktarn ones do have the advantage of being very warm and built like brick shithouses.
