What do you use to hold your G36 mags?

I have always been carrying my G36 mags in either a large utility pouch or my jacket pockets.

Now I want to buy a vest which will hold my mags! If you could recommend me some vests/rigs that would be great! :D

They fit in double M4 mag pouches, one per pouch - or if you stick two together using the lugs then they will both go in a double M4 mag pouch. Bit of a squeeze though.

Yeap, cut the lugs off and then use double M4 pouches, not perfect but it works well enough.

I'd like to know how they get around it in the real world trhough.

in the real world they use pouches made for the g36 mags, just use german kit, oddly enough it works

Since I only carry 3 G36 mags, I usually just stick 2 in the M4 mag pockets of my tac vest, fit is tight and I don't remove the lugs so I dont want to get caught short in a firefight and have to fiddle around with em though (which does of course always happen).

I manage to play with the lugs still on, just give the mag a little wiggle when you pull it out. I use one G36 mag per double M4 mag, so quite a lot of room left in the pouch.

Try googling them, looking at German sites (.de) or look on ebay Germany.

EDIT. I've just looked at ebay Germany (replace the .co.uk with .de) and put g36 in the search box. There are at least 3 people selling g36 pouches and 1 that may be a vest (though I didn't go into the ad).

How many mags do you have?

If I were you then buy a MOLLE vest, extremely modular and will last you for ages if you buy something a tad more expensive. I would reccomend Warrior, quite expensive but they are the best in my opinion.

Pantac are also a good option, but I will still rate Warrior higher. Try and buy a vest/chest rig that comes with pouches as this will probably save you a lot of money and effort.

I have 6 G36 mags. I am tempted by a warrior vest. What pouches would I have to buy for them to fit?

Triple M4 pouches will fit 2 mags

If you have 6 then stick with the standard double M4 pouches. Get five double M4 pouches, one mag in each pouch and have one in the gun.
