It is a plate carrier. I do not know the specific brand (I did not think to ask him.) I will e-mail him and see.

Its not the mayflower PC the "plate" are is miles too small. And the way the sholders are connected is all wrong.
Closest thing I can think of is a HPC with a small plate, and after a wee bit of googleing, it turns out Paraclete did make a special version for the Parajumpers that buckled up with fastex at the sides instead of a zip or flap at the front.

turns out is a paraclete HPC (hard plate carrier) and ive managed to source a replica version

Flammenwerfer I seem to recall has done an outstanding PJ loadout. It's on here somewhere.
