    TAN or OD Pate carrier?

    I am torn between buying a Tan or Olive Drab Plate carrier with the birthday money I will be getting in a week.

    Which colour would people advise?

    My local site would be well suited to either. I hate it when there is a choice.

    I have both mate to be honest so its just a choice thing. Depends if your after Urban or woodland?

    Im selling a OD plate carrier fully loaded tonight on here mate if your interested.

        Depends really.. I've heard from a guy on here who has worked with UKSF choose to use OLIVE carriers in all environments.. guessing they must use it for a reason!

          By the sounds of it I will be looking to get a OD Plate carrier then (for starters it will go with my DPMs). My site is woodland but a lot of people use Tan/CB vests there and they all work well (but then a lot also use Camo or OD kit too).

            well CB (over tan) is the best option IMO just cos its incredibly effective in most environments

              I would always go DPM or OD in woodland mate but like I said its a preference thing.

              Our team there are 2 ex forces and they swear by OD in woodland with DPM gear, blends in better.

                i just recieved my od plate carrier and imo it looks a lot better than my old dpm webbing

                    If you're playing in woodland and dont want to stand out quite as much go for OD.
                    When I started down the molle route I went for CB/tan as I played mostly urban so it was the pose factor more than the practical one.
                    Now I've been forced to play more woodland I'm having to re buy kit in OD so I dont stand out quite as much.
