Mounting Pistol on rig

Now ive only seen a few people doing it but they seem to use one of these to mount a pistol on to the front of their vest. So the berrel is horizontal. Can anyone shed some light as what im searching for on google doesnt add up.

Blackhawk CQC Serpa Molle Panel. They come in Black, Green or Tan.

I've got a spare (Blackhawk) one that I can sell if needed

You can get a holster like the one posted above for 15 pounds off a popular auction site
Its a fobus holster.

ok ive got a holster like the one in the pic and a belt is ment to feed through it, whats the platform look like so i can get a idea of how it works, i would need green preferably. cheers

You'll need to ditch the belt attachment, and pick up a molle system one.

The Serpa (the plastic holster) then screws onto the molle platform plate at any angle you like.

Ok i didn't have what i though i had so ill need to buy both.
Just checking this will fit the molle platform?

Nope, that's a paddle for putting it on a belt.

What you'll need is either:

QC holster molle platform (tan)

Or, (I think this will work for all guns)

STRIKE Speed Clip Beretta CQC Platform

Then you will also need the actual serpa which fits your gun model.
