In all honesty you can get a BULLE one which will be better made (and comes in more colours) for around £40 from a german camo named dealer.

For the same price as the viper special operations you could get a decent warrior vest

There you go, about £40 delivered on an auction site!
A very popular vest, and great for anybody really. The pouches don't come off is the only thing. But if you just want some mags and couple other bits then can't beat it!

Re: Viper vest special operation, is it good?
I also have one, I've used and abused it over the years but its still going strong
I also have 2 viper hongkong vests - very good, comfortable and a nice padded collar so slings don't rub your neck
Only downside is it only has 2 5.56 pouches
There is a warrior rig that's just over £50, think its a chest rig though but is so nice
My next buy is a warrior rig

Yep, the Warrior 901 Omega at a UK webstore is selling for £59.95 (£66.90 inc delivery in the UK) at the moment and comes with a decent selection of pouches (more can be added for extra cost).. It's only available in Tan but if colour is not an issue then I doubt you can really go wrong with it.
