What radio/comms do you recommend?
13 October, 2009, 22:12
As I'm getting more and more into airsoft im realising that me and my buddies running through the woods shooting anything that moves is a lot of fun..... but it isn't always productive for the team and when one of you inevitably gets hit you either wander round forever trying to find each other again or end up flying solo for the rest of the day.
As such I am considering buying some comms equipment. What do you guys recommend?

Re: What radio/comms do you recommend?
I have a pair of Binatone Terrain 550's came with docking charger for both and support headsets. Have 9 main channels each with 12 sub channels. And they were only about £40 for 2 from a well known highstreet store that ends in "gos". Other places do a 4 pack too.

You want a PMR, after that it's all down to budget

Re: What radio/comms do you recommend?
The general comms are either Kenwood, Icom or Motorola, on a 446 frequency.
The listed models have a good selection of accesories and headsets.
I personally use a kenwood with either a speaker mike or a Sordin headset.
