Re: Stargate Look
Kartboy55 there has been 3 diferent series / spinoff's of Stargate.
The original series.. Stargate mainly used P90's
Then came Stargate Atlantis... Ive not really watched this series but i believe they use all sorts of real world weapons.. P90's, G36, M4 etc check here
http://www.imfdb.org/index.php?title=Stargate:_Atlantis
Recently started is Stargate Universe which ive been watching, they mainly seem to be using G36's from what ive seen so far.
Hope this helps.

Re: Stargate Look
kartboy please excuse yourself from this thread!
they used P90's in SG-1 and Atlantis, now they use G36's
and there's also some m4 RIS and a HK UMP in it, and m92's
don't think there's anything else on the destiny but could be wrong
Gangsta lean, it's not all bad...

Re: Stargate Look
I remember these being used:
Mp5 - Sliding stock with torch and an m16 sight, which takes some modding to fit on.
P90 - Red dot version
G36K - appeared in the later series on a couple of episodes
Mp7 - again, only a couple of episodes spring to mind.
As for sidearms, M9 all the way.. unless there is an Airsoft Zat gun?
As for the vest / clothing....
This website I found while using google:
http://www.chevron26.com/sg-1/uniform/euniform.html
Has pretty much all the info you need on getting the look right.
If you're adament on sticking true to the gear, then have a look for the black hawk omega medic vest.
Oh, and to really get the look....
Probably best to use them in the safezone only

Re: Stargate Look
If it was a UKSF unit operating out of the SGC then it would be.
Kit:
DPM's + SGC badge
OD/DPM webbing/vest/plate carrier(never saw anyone wearing armour in SG)/chestrig
Weapons:
L119a1 (but an M4 would look the part)
H&K MP5A3
L85A2 (if you wanted to make them Para/Marines instead of SF)
M249 Para (one of the russian is carrying a PKM, even though I cant remember SG-1 using support weapons)

Re: Stargate Look
Did one a couple of years back with a replica G8 WEP Jacket, OD Cargos, a Viper LA Spec Forces vest, M9, dropleg and a P90, got all the patches on the WEP jacket.....
Easy to do if you can either find a WEP jacket or an OD shirt....
Funnily enough i still have the WEP and patches......

there where lots of different teams but always thought that the UK one would be in DPM
O'neil also used a G3SG1 in an episode, and Carter used a M4 CQB with a Thumhole stock (

I've added a link to Sci-fi geeks and their stargate patch collection.
