Need help with loadout ideas (Outfit and Rifle)

Hi All,

I would really like to get some sort of SF or PMC look or maybe both together (both outfit and rifle kit)

My current rifle is this: G&G CM16 Raider - L

Clothing Wise, I currently have these items:

• OD 1 Point viper sling
• OD Viper SF Gloves
• MTP Trousers
• Boots

Does anyone have any ideas for me? I have looked through most posts and they are all great but I am still stuck lol....

NB: I am looking at possibly getting a pistol and / or a CQB type weapon down the line (if it helps with ideas)

Hi Tal, I like the rifle but a couple of questions...

Tan Rail Covers when everything else is in OD would seem a little odd to me. Would you consider spraying them OD?
What do you currently use to hold mags/ammo/utilities etc? Because you've not mentioned it above I'll put forward my suggestions.
What colour boots do you have?

Black Fleece/Top (Helikon/5.11 etc.)
OD MOLLE Rig/Plate Carrier (WAS/Bulle etc.)
Knee Pads. MFH make some great pads that have OD strapping and a darker brown hard plastic shell. These look great with MTP - I use them
Cap/Helmet. If you're going for a lid then I'd opt for an OD one, if it's the cap then the world is your oyster.

Later on if you purchase a secondary you can always add it onto a drop leg holster or a MOLLE mounted CQC type one.

Try a 1961 rig aaaand shemagh with some sort of tac fleece, Helikon patriot that type of thing... Oh and a tactical beard seems to be essential it seems.
Pistol - Sig P226r or Glock - 17, chest mounting is out now, facefull of Sig after stepping on an ied against health and safety it seems, so leg holster or belt mounted is all good.

Or something like a WAS rig, molle pouches galore.

Do you mean the tan magazine? as the rail covers are OD - If so, the magazine purchase was a slight mistake on my part.

Would you say keep the rifle simple then? Nothing else much to add?

In terms of carrying mags, I have two high caps in a Mag clamp (do not have a chest / vest rig yet) -

So does OD look better with MTP opposed to Coyote?

Would a Glock 18c do? Quite like the look of those! Although, is there much difference between a Glock 18 and Glock 17??

Mate, my bad. When I loaded the images up on the phone I thought they were tan. Oops!

You've got enough on the rifle at the moment to make it seem "Operator Friendly" but it's your choice. A suppressor wouldn't look too bad IMO.

I like the look of MTP with OD personally but it looks great with Tan, too. I was only going off the fact you've got an OD sling and gloves. I use it in Woodland with OD.

Here is what my MTP looked like with OD pads and an OD Mag Carrier. (Excuse the Spurs hat - not very covert)

You probably don't need any load bearing equipment at the moment then if your mags are all you're carrying...

haha no worries -

I like your load out - simple and would also work for CQB stuff.

I do think I will need a chest rig at some point (especially with wanting to go to GZ Weekender this year)

yeah in terms of the rifle, I was thinking of either an M203 or Suppressor

How beneficial are 203 launchers in Airsoft? or is it more looks?

Couldn't tell you I'm afraid. I like the look of one, too but I've never used one and I've never been hit by anyone firing one at me either.

Once you start to build up your gear you'll find it's nicer to have everything on you. Since that photo was taken, I've gone and bought a RICAS Compact and loaded it up to the stars and am now thinking about a belt kit, too!

You could go 18c chappie, its full auto so fun for those close up special moments over the single of the 17.

As above, a 1961 style or a WAS Ricas / compact depends on what your after. perhaps a belt load out for high speed low drag would work.

OK - So with my generic SF / PMC outfit in mind and the GZ weekender coming up, what would be the best sort of vest to get - I am thinking the molle one?

molle one would probably be better as you can change the pouches easily.
on the first one though, if you are playing cqb you might get the zipper teeth shot out making your vest unzipable.
molle all the way.
maybe spend abit more and get a warrior assualt systems 901 chest rig?

<AT> Talbert: not entirely sure what look you're going for exactly but if you're going for SF there's a few things that would really give it the USSF feel. Firstly you want khaki load bearing equipment from the SFLCS kit, obviously this is expensive but the quality lasts forever, flyye and pantac offer good replicas of the kit and AFAIK the cut and colour is nearly identical to real Eagle/Allied industries gear, try to avoid UK cut gear (like warrior) if youre going for USSF or US PMC, the second vest you posted is a copy of an RRV which is a vest that is issued in the SFLCS kit bag so would be kosher were it in khaki, secondly you want to grab yourself a set of multicam, I've heard good stuff about the dragonred stuff if you're looking at repro but obviously crye would be the best but can be insanely expensive unless you're patient on the Bay (SF do wear standard US ACU cut multicam BDUs as well). Helmet wise you want a MICH TC2000 (seen some 2001's)/ACH with some kind of krylon camo job, but Ops Core helmets have been seen. Basically generic SF: khaki vest over multicam with MICH/ACH and commercial hiking boots.
Obviously there are other little things like Comtac II headset, Norotos/ANVIS/Wilcox NOD mounts, MS-2000 strobes etc. but I'm guessing you're not doing an impression? Sorry if I've come off as a bit of a nob.
