Softshell and Banshee plate carrier pics (don't have to be in same photo)
8 January, 2013, 23:44
Hi guys looking at purchasing a softshell jacket soon and wondered if any of you have any pics of you wearing them with your rig. Od or Tan seen to be my main choice so any pics youve got or can find of military wearing softshell would be appreciated.
Also any of you out there have a shelback tactical banshee plate carrier if so pucs of your loadout on them would be great as just ourchased one and need to know what pouches look like on them.
Cheers
Ben

In general mate, softshell jackets with plate carriers look very good, however be careful to get an uninsulated softshell(as opposed to fleece lined) as the fleece just holds in sweat, which isnt very comfotlrtable believe me. Go for one of the newer helikon models eg the v2 soft shell jacket or trooper.
Also the youtube channel Milsim Mechanix has a video about the banshee with a guy wearing a softshell.

Need to get myself either a tan or rg softshell to go with my rg banshee plate carrier, you not running any kind of dummy plates in that ? Mine feels so much better with plates in (made out of layered cardboard)

Tas tiger do a pretty good slimcut softshell with a lot of vent options. Comes in green and is designed to fit under armour. I think mine cost about £110.
