Can anyone ID this/these Plate carries please?
27 June, 2013, 20:20
Hey guys,
Yet again I'm chaging around my loadout, hopefully this time for good.
Can any of you that are familiar with either Arma 2 or USMC FR (Don't know if the game's depiction is accurate) ID the plate carriers being worn here?
Sorry for the poor pictures, they're all I could find.
I think the two marines I'll be copying are wearing the same PC but I'm unsure:
Thanks in advance for any help lads.

Yea, do you mean the actual plate carrier, or the chest rig over the top of it?

Looks like a standard modern chest rig with bib, looks like it has the bib support straps up to the shoulders, I can't see any signs of a plate carrier.

It is is indeed a chest rig guys, My mistake.
I've been told a RRV is correct for the era, but I think a WAS 901 looks a closer fit to the picture.

Yea it could potentially be an RRV, in all honesty to me it looks like any generic molle-compatible coyote chest rig... Sorry I can't be of much help identifying specific makes/models!

I'd suggest a Warrior 901 is about the closest to mimic that. The 901 basically is a RRV. You can just kit it out with the right pouches to match that picture if you want.

Re: Can anyone ID this/these Plate carries please?
As above, a Blackhawk STRIKE Commando Recon Chest Harness would also do the trick (have to be the STRIKE and not the original if you want the chest piece too). But again, that's just because that's Blackhawks's version of a RRV. Effectively, any RRV wold do the trick. Just depends on the quality you want and how much you want to spend. A nice Warrior 901 is easy to get over here; they're good quality and won't break the bank.
