Re: United States Special Forces
True, but I'd go for slightly older SF if you're on a budget. Modern= more dollar and more difficult to do well.

Re: United States Special Forces
So what is possibly the best M4 without upgrading up to 355 pounds then?

Re: United States Special Forces
£355 is a lot to spend on an M4. Hell, £450 would get you my Car-15 and that's one of a kind with a 6p torch and £100 aimpoint setup included :p
There are a lot of M4A1 options.

I was thinking Tier One/Delta (they look similar in kit to that other photo of the beardy bloke) but not sure...
Dave
Bearded SF guy on the right is named Joe (not a joke.) He is retired US Army SSGT and served with the US Special Forces. He now is an airsofter and teaches airsoft squad tactics up in the Northeast USA.
Units he served with include:

Re: United States Special Forces
It was a complete coincidence - I just happened to talk to the guy who runs MSATO training about coming to an airsoft convention we are having here at an old prison, and he mentioned Joe. That was the same day I signed up on the forum here. I saw the pic for his bio and then saw the pic here.
I have not played with him, but have played with the other two main instructors, including, Jeff Froelich, who is retired 1st Mountain Division (the Blackhawk Down guys.) He was the First Sergeant of the Bravo Company forces at Operation Pine Plains II, III, and IV, and one hell of an airsoft player. I was on Alpha company at Pine Plains IV, and I didn't get helmet cam footage of him because I was probably running the other way.
