Re: United States Special Forces
hey guys,
recently purchased a mock ms2000 strobe (g&p speedloader version) and was wondering how you attach it to your lid?

If you actually do want to find an 'oddball' jacket and helmet, look for pilots kit, not tankies.
Tankie jackets are actually fabric with blanket lining and tankers helmets were more like skateboard helmets (loosely). I think oddball in the film wears civilian flying gear of the era... i could be wrong but it's not tankie kit... just in case you were serious about getting the kit together

Edit;
It would appear its a USAAF A2 pilots jacket and a USAAF flying helmet.

Re: United States Special Forces
Looking good Jim never actually seen the lap panel attached to the CPC....
Progress is slow and steady almost finished my maritime, needs a Manta strobe and an L4G24 still.
Project AVS is underway, finally bought a harness but it didn't come with the cool looking buckle so I may contact crye to get one:
Had to ghetto rig the 2 band cummerbund to the harness so will have to get a 3 band one soon.

Never mind about the kit. You need to grow a mad Donald Sutherland beard. If people complain you can't legitimately tell them to stop giving you "negative vibes".

Re: United States Special Forces
My (Very much a work in progress) non specific USSF loadout, over time to be refined into a more true to life SEALs loadout when funds allow.
(Pic shamelessly borrowed from a sites website, but it's the only one I have of me airsofting, apologies for lack of credit of the photographer is on here)

Re: United States Special Forces
Proper battle of mog loadout started.
Protec lid with ANVIS mount and battery (will get changed to a D type soon enough).
Velcro and 100mph tape.
