Re: United States Special Forces
@mack: I was wondering why all your MARSOC stuff was up for sale. We're basically building the same kit now... I would suggest a blackhawk riggers belt, an AVS, SOFBAV or EPC (although a CPC is technically kosher I normally think of CAG etc.) and some air flex kneepads. But other than that, looking good!
@Rowan: I know a lot of people that have semapo NCPCs and I've heard nothing but praise for them, apparently customer service can be a bit hit and miss. VGC also make an NCPC so may be worth checking them out too. There are a lot of CPC repros in the pipeline as far as I'm aware if you want to hold out.

Still keeping my FFI Woodlands and JPC so not giving up with the MARSOC gear yet although have sold off most of my grunt kit. I was thinking of going down the CAG route. Do they use the maratime and block II m4's? as most modern pics I see are ones with airframes with anvis mounts and 416's. Have some airflex pads but they were in my M81's. blackhawk belt and real Garmin fortrex are next on the list, also what glock holsters whould be kosher for KAG, like the look of the Crye Gunclip.

Re: United States Special Forces
Sgt.bob: yea I really want a cpc can't quite afford a crye at the moment the semapo looks pretty much indentical and like you said I've heard nothing but praise, I run an Lbt 6094a at the no love it but want something different as I'm going for a cag kit.
Mack: yea you see a lot of cag using 416's and airframes, gun clip is cool but also safariland 6354do if you can get your hands on one.

Re: United States Special Forces
as rowan said, CAG kosher holster is the 6354DO, if you can get one!
If you're headed down the CAG route you'll need a new lid and gun, neither maritime or M4 are legit

Re: United States Special Forces
@mack: you may get away with a gun clip (it would also in theory be kosher for a green beret kit although safarilands and SERPAs are more common) but echoing what the other's have said 6354 is the way forward. There was one picture floating around of AWG or CAG in a ballistic w/ANVIS etc. and ACU cryes but as the others have mentioned airframe and 416s are the way forward for an instantly recognisable CAG kit.
@Rowan: I know the feel bro. Honestly I would hold out for a semapo or VGC CPC repro to come out. I know FFI makes a decent CPC repro but it's only in CB at the moment.
Stole this CAG kit list off Seraph on another forum if you guys were interested:

Re: United States Special Forces
Cheers mate. Picked it up from JimmyPie on here a while back. If you're interested I've seen a few floating on a certain auction site recently. There are also some for sale on a DEVGRU themed forum within Europe but they're still quite expensive (at 750€ for a compete set with pouches, zip-on panel etc.).

Re: United States Special Forces
Managed to bag these and a Blackhawk riggers belt on ebay on the cheap, and some toy soldier crye style pistol mag pouches. Now looking for a Garmin fortrex as the dummy one looks terriable.

Re: United States Special Forces
I have a quick question regarding the use of AK's by Navy Seals in Afghanistan, especially around the time of Op Red Wings. I am currently building a 2005 Era US Navy Seal loadout (I will post up a list later) and I am also itching to get an AK, so would an AKM or AK 74 fit in with my loadout? Many thanks

@Mack, Best boots you'll EVER wear in my opinion! Absolutely love mine, but make sure you get a great pair of socks to go with them. Had mine two years and they're starting to show their ago only now.
