Re: United States Special Forces
The title of this thread should really be US SOF rather than USSF.
But yeah, what Andy said.

Re: United States Special Forces
I actually started this thread to be a 75th Ranger thread but someone got involved and changed it to a USSF thread much to my dissapointment.

Re: United States Special Forces
My latest helmet added to the collection.
-Gentex MICH 2000 Helmet.
-Plenty of velcro.
-G&P chopped up goggles.
-ACM Norotos NVG Arm.
-Home made ANVIS-9 Battery Box.
-Military LED Finger Light (on top, used as kit marker).
-Gentex ACU/Foliage Green chinstrap (can't see this in the bloody pics).
-Fake IR square tabs on left side, right side and top.
This helmet was based on a few variants I've seen worn by the latest 75th Army Rangers (pics below). Theirs are setup in the same way although they use a Black/Grey/Brown coloured helmet with a 'snake skin' effect. I've left mine Khaki/Teal similar to the previous Rangers brain buckets to inkeep with my teams loadout.

Re: United States Special Forces
Velcro, sold as Velcro comes rolled in a box as either stick on or sew on type. Find it almost anywhere. I get mine from B&Q, but I have seen it sold (among others) in John Lewis, Homebase and possibly over the internet.

Re: United States Special Forces
I got mine with some pretty tough sticky side but it refuses to remain attached to my helm.

Re: United States Special Forces
With the Rangers using Multicam, are they still using Ranger Green kit?

Yes indeed, however pouches are a mixture according to photos I have seen.

Try using a MICH NV adapter instead of the PASGT mount, the bracket should sit better on the helmet. Also your holster is a little low on your right leg, it's almost on your knee pad!
Just a little constructive criticism
other than that I like it, spot on mate.

Im going to change the holster for a serpa drop leg, and change the pasgt mount for the mich mount with rhino arm.
