meh another pmc thread with as ever good advise and bad advice... i would never personally go with a 5.11 loadout, ok some stuff is great, well made ext but gives that classic try hard airsofter look even when ya dragged it through the crap n back a few times.... want u really want is a hog pog of a load out mix n match bits to suit your taste and while pmcs do get some degree of choice over kit they tend to stick to what they know, ie ex us forces use eagle n safarilanda a fair bit where as with ex uk forces pmcs black hawk is a popular brand... some tag stuff ive seen in lots of different pics... 5.11 stuff im seriously lacking in ref pics for though.....

basically look at a range of ref pics and post them up ask what the kit is if your not sure, once u have a good idea of whats about and whats used make ur mind up from there, but then again unless ur a wannabe nut with a fetish for dressing up, its only airsoft use what u like and can afford.... walking boots also over military issue are a big feature of most pmc loadouts though not that desert military boots are incorrect just infrequently seen...

oh and either a hard or soft shell tac jacket is a pretty big requirement for modern pmc loadouts in personal opinion all though they are no where near necessary they look great and make it a practical uk loadout for skirmishing....

- tac vest
- viper drop leg
- fingerless tac gloves (knuckle padded)
- viper tac boots
- jeans, long sleeve t-shirt, generic baseball cap.

(and the zero-in patch :p)

excuse the two-tone g36c (plinker) its just for show as im not ukara (ive photoshopped it a bit so no-one needs to reach for the eye bleach), ill be going for a glock sidearm and either an m4 or mp5 once i am though...

Hi bro, Look not to piss on your parade , But i think it doesnt look good, if you want to look like a PMC and it aint called PMC's no more it PSC (Private Security Contractor) we are not conected to military anymore well 99.9% anyway you will find its private organisations like HART/OLIVE/AEGIS and such hence the PSC.

but onto the load outs. I dont think you have done that bad but you need to change the outlook. Why do people look at a picture see what they want to see but doesnt quite work out when you take picture of it.

The photos i have attached are just some from Iraq over last couple of years . common denominator is we mainly use cargo pants, whether that be 5.11 or north face columbia etc , with polo shirts t shirts etc . I use 5.11 trousers and north face lightweights. as well as the tight under armour tops. jeans arnt approiate to be fair, we are professionals with professional standards its the one or two that fuck it up for everyone.

As far a s weapons are concerned (im about to eat my words from a previous thread) Im currently deployed in Afghan on election contract our weapons we are using are smith and wesson pistols. sig/glock mix , ugly things but fire great. and AK's yes guys AK47's i never thought would be using them again in a conflict but due to legal standing within the company they are deploying with AK's

My current loadout is similar to pics below as each job is different. im deploying to helmand region so im between two rigs. My RAV Vest with soft armour and ballistic plates , but also got a plate carrier with a blackhawk crossdraw vest on top as i want minimal for moving about and for our clients keeping low profiles. I will post pics up at end opf contract for OPSEC reasons. get rid of the shitey holster for pistol , you want the look then get a blackhawk. omega or moulded or safarliland uncle mikes etc , there are a few out there but cheap viper ones , people will laugh they look shit

The kit we are all using is our own lightweight trousers. actually couple of guys have combat trousers from PRIMARK nop shit. so not all about big names . its what works for you the individual. Unless you are wanting goverment look ie SO1 SO11 UK Met units or SAS BG team then scrap the G36 mainly AK's and M4 variants in use nowadays depending on contracts and whats available

get some sort of ID card , you can download a basic template of an MNFI badge or a CAC card off google and make it to your own spec. CAC cards are the gold duxt of cards on the circuit.

I was watching a documentary on private contractors, what stuck in my mind a bit was, cut-down AKs - How difficult is it to modify them? Looking at doing that as I think it looks quite practical.

A wee question regarding magazines, how many pistol mags would you normally carry as well as armalite/AK?

i watched that same program. they all used modified aks didn't they. had their armmourer cut them down
