Fitting MICH TC2000 cover
25 December, 2010, 13:25
Just got a MICH rep for Christmas :/ lol, and I'm trying to fit the cover, (type with velcro strips)
Velcro on cover doesn't seem to line up with helmet Velcro.
Any one added some dot Velcro strips?
Are the covers supposed to be lose on the edge??
Pics would help please guys.
Thanks and merry Christmas!!

Re: Fitting MICH TC2000 cover
Haven't got pictures at the moment but I'm using a Tri-colour desert helmet cover on my MSA TC-2000.
The helmet cover's velcro tabs should stick to at least 1 velcro disk in the helmet, the edges of the helmet cover will also be quite loose at some areas which in my case is just right behind the ear cups.
Merry X'mas to you too!

Re: Fitting MICH TC2000 cover
Just snapped a photo and decided to flip to the Woodland camouflage side...
My helmet cover has 7 tabs to attach to the velcro disks, I find the current velcro disk arrangement sufficient for a reasonable fit.
As you can see, the edges of the helmet cover only get loose at the rear of the ear cups... Does the size of your helmet cover match the size of your helmet?
Cheers!

Thanks for that!
Did you have to cut the cover near the straps on the helmet?

Nope, the 4 slots for the P clamps line up perfectly...
If your helmet cover is pretty loose, you might want to try getting a helmet cover one size smaller... The genuine ones come in S/M, M/L and L/XL I believe.
Hope it helps!

My helmet cover fits nice on the helmet, only the little holes don't line up right, time for the Stanley to come out I think lol.
