DIY Vietnam Bug Juice Bottles

So today I stumbled across a bag of 6 assorted bottles in a £1 store. A thought immediately came to mind...

Here is the contents of the bag...


4 of the bottles were scrapped. It was these 2 I was interested in.


Doesn't the shape and overall look of the bottle remind you of the Vietnam BugJuice bottles? I always wanted one for my M1 helmet, but at £20 i passed on it


A quick google search found me some printable labels




Add a thin layer of glue to stick it to the bottle, and I was finished.




Just as good as any repro bottle, but for about £0.30p for 2 bottles, it makes it better.

So what have you filled yours with?

i filled it about half way with a carbonated beverage that had gone flat. Looked to be the correct (ish) colour, then hot glued the screw cap shut

As a pretty dedicated Namsofter I think this is excellent, just excellent mate. Well done and thank you for posting it. Look forward to a picture of it in your helmet band.
